Crypt Lutea (Cryptocoryne walkeri)
Crypt Lutea is a hardy rosette plant with narrow, lance-shaped leaves that grow upright and gently arch outward. The foliage ranges from bright green to olive or bronze depending on lighting and nutrient levels. Its dense, compact growth makes it an excellent foreground-to-midground plant for freshwater aquariums.
It tolerates low light and does not require injected CO₂. A nutrient-rich substrate or occasional root tabs will support fuller growth. After planting or being moved, it may temporarily lose leaves before producing new growth.
