Provide open swimming space, planted areas for cover, and good filtration. Gold Dust Mollies do best with peaceful tankmates that share their preference for mineral-rich water. Aquarium salt is not required when their freshwater conditions are suitable.
Mollies are livebearers and may reproduce readily. For mixed-sex groups, keep 2–3 females per male to help reduce persistent chasing.
